The County Assemblies Forum (CAF), represented by Hon. Christopher Omulele, Speaker of Vihiga County Assembly, and Hon. Developed by Mzalendo Trust, the report highlights critical insights into the effectiveness of county assemblies’ oversight functions and sheds light on key areas where further support and improvement are needed. The findings aim to foster transparency and accountability within the devolution framework by encouraging stronger oversight practices across counties. This collaboration underscores CAF’s commitment to enhancing governance standards and ensuring county assemblies are equipped to address emerging challenges in their oversight mandate.
