The County Assemblies Forum (CAF) Secretariat on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, joined the leadership and members of the Bomet County Assembly for the official opening of the Assembly’s Main Chamber, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of devolved governance and legislative development.
The occasion brought together county leadership and other stakeholders to celebrate the completion of an important facility that will provide a conducive environment for legislative business, debate and the effective discharge of the Assembly’s constitutional mandate.
The new Main Chamber represents an important investment in strengthening the institutional capacity of the Bomet County Assembly and enhancing its ability to effectively undertake its legislative, oversight and representation functions on behalf of the people of Bomet.
