The County Assemblies Forum (CAF) was represented at the County Pension Fund (CPF) Annual General Meeting by the Chairperson, Hon. Seth Kamanza, in an event that brought together key stakeholders from the public service pension sector. The meeting, held in Bungoma County, provided a platform for discussions on pension reforms, financial sustainability, and the future of social protection for county public servants. It also gave institutional stakeholders an opportunity to review the Fund’s performance and strategic plans. CAF’s participation highlighted the Forum’s ongoing commitment to collaborating with national pension institutions to protect the welfare of Members of County Assemblies (MCAs) and county assembly staff. Through its leadership, CAF has consistently emphasized the importance of predictable and fair retirement benefits within devolved units. The CPF Group AGM is an annual gathering that unites county governments, pension administrators, and representatives of organized public sector groups to review progress and exchange insights on improving retirement benefit services. CAF continues to advocate for legislative and policy frameworks that strengthen pension systems and guarantee dignified retirement for all county government employees.
