In a bid to strengthen the legislative arm of county governments and safeguard the gains of devolution, the County Assemblies Forum (CAF) convened a high-level consultative meeting bringing together Speakers and Clerks from all 47 County Assemblies across Kenya.

The session, co-chaired by Hon. Seth Kamanza, Chairperson of CAF, and Mr. Kamau Aidi, Chairperson of the Society of County Clerks at the Table (SOCCAT-K), provided a vital platform to address shared challenges and strengthen collaboration among county legislatures.

Deliberations focused on aligning legislative priorities, fostering institutional synergy, and reinforcing the collective role of County Assemblies in advancing the principles of devolution. The meeting underscored the importance of unity and coordinated action in driving effective governance and service delivery at the county level.
