On 2nd July 2025, the Chairperson of the County Assemblies Forum (CAF), Hon. Seth Kamanza, led a delegation of representatives from the Western Cluster to the County Assembly of Bungoma for a courtesy visit and consultative engagement.

The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on critical issues facing county legislatures, with a key focus on legislative autonomy and the need to strengthen institutional frameworks that support effective lawmaking, oversight, and representation at the county level.

Discussions also explored ways to reinforce inter-county collaboration and promote shared learning among assemblies within the Western Cluster, with a view to deepening the gains of devolution and enhancing service delivery.

CAF appreciates the warm reception extended by the leadership and Members of the County Assembly of Bungoma and looks forward to continued dialogue and partnership on matters of mutual interest across county legislatures.
